Choosing Your Operand Size

At the top of the machine, an Operands switch lets you pick how big each number is:

  • Units — each operand is a single digit (0–9). Since the largest possible result (9 × 9 = 81) only needs two digits, the result wheels show just Tens and Units.
  • Tens & Units — each operand is a two-digit number (0–99). Since results can reach into the thousands, the result wheels expand to Thousands, Hundreds, Tens, and Units.

Switching between the two resets the wheels to a fresh starting equation for that mode.
